The Pools Open April 27th.  We have the Memorial Day BBQ coming up and the Wednesday Night Club BBQs Start June 5th

The pools open April 27th.  The life-guarding hours will be  from 12:00 noon until 7:00 PM  on all days.  All children and juniors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult when no lifeguard is on duty.  No children may be left unattended at any time in the pool area until they pass the swim test, swimming the length of the pool without touching the sides or bottom.

La Cantera’s famous Wednesday Night BBQs from 5:00-6:30 PM will begin Wednesday, June 5th and continue until August 7th. We serve hamburgers, breast of chicken sandwiches, garden burgers or jumbo hotdogs as well as our green salad, fresh fruit salad, chips and a drink for $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children 12 and under, and $3.00 for an extra sandwich.

Swim Programs

Swim Lesson News:  Deanne Bonta is returning as our Swim School Director.  Swim lesson sign-ups have started and can be done in person or by phone.  Our lesson schedule includes private and group lessons in the morning and private lessons in the afternoon or evening.  We welcome non-member sign-ups if you have friends interested in the lessons as well.  If you need a new list of swim classes please call and we can drop it in the mail

Swim Team News:  Sign up now for this year’s swim team.  Swimmers 8 to 15 years old are welcome.  Practices are Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning, 8:00-8:45 AM for eight weeks beginning June 3rd and ending July 26th.  There is one competition during the program, our Annual Swim Olympics.  For members the cost is $90.00 or $15.00 per week if you will only be here a few weeks of the program.    The minimum charge is for four weeks.  Call to sign up as spaces are limited.

Guest & Snack Bar Policies

Please remember to register your guests as soon as you arrive and include both your first and last name in the guest register.  The same guest may come only three times each month.  The guest fees are $5.00 for children and $7.00 for adults.

Please note that when snack bar charges are billed they are added up at the end of the month and posted at one time.  You may request to see your charge slips if you have any questions.
